How is it that you are you habits? First I want to zoom out before I explain the details.
Your life is made up of many moving parts: you, your job, your family, your colleagues, your environment, your choices, your actions…
When you think of changing, you feel like there is too much to do.
You don’t know where yo start. There is too many things to move, change, take action.
Here’s the thing: You don’t need to change it all. Change starts by one tiny little thing. That’s all.
Let’s take an example:
You are on a road, and the road is heading to one destination. If you don’t take any action you stay on this road, nothing changes everything stays the same. Now if you take the first turn, or even decide to go off road, you are taking a whole different route, by the one turn.
Life is the same. And everything else that’s in your life works the same way. You don’t need to figure out all the actions to take, nor all the changes you want. You need to make the first change. The rest will follow.
Plus the more you’ll take actions, decisions you’ll see something start to happen. You’ll start doing things that you enjoy. Wouldn’t that be great?
