  • Developping A New Skill

1- Creating space in the little flat to practise. Easy enough, I moved the shelf on the floor to the side. To make it easier to move I place felt pad under so that it won't damage the shelf.
⠀
2- practising - handstands had been something I wanted to do for a while. Why? Because it looks fun. Moving your body is good for you. And putting your body upside down once a day is good for your health.

I always tried to find the right time and place to do it. Now I have a place at home where I work.

  • Give Yourself Time to Rest

As part of my goal setting, making decision and acting on it.
⠀
I told myself that I would go swimming 3 times a week in the morning (these are the training available for my swim team)
⠀
I have 2 busy weeks coming with my business and the play.
⠀
And my wellbeing is a priority. If I dont feel good I can't serve at my best. I feel great and I intend on doing what it takes to keep it that way.
⠀
11pm - Rehearsal finished
12am - in bed falling asleep
06am - grogy wake up
⠀
I would have gone for a swim should I have time for a 2 hours nap during the day. But today was booked.
⠀
So I grab my alarm and set it 2 hours later.
⠀
I “failed” at my goal of going to swimming 3 times at training.
⠀
I succeeded in taking care of myself.
⠀
Note: the week isn't over and I can schedule a session by myself. training session are great as there is a coach to keep you going.
⠀
-I swim 3 times a week to muscle my back the right way, plus to feel strong and healthy.
-skipping this swim session made me feel healthy as I started the day well rested.
⠀
Keep an eye on your bigger goals and make sure you don't self destroy yourself. Be flexible. And remember WHY you set your goals to start with.

Read Your Goal Every Day

Yes I have repeated myself and it's needed until you do it.

By reading your goals every day you keep your heading in mind.
⠀
It doesn't mean that your heading can't change.
⠀
You can change your heading whenever you feel is right.
⠀
When you don't have a heading you might stop on day and realised you've arrived at a place you do not like.
⠀
A heading will avoid this.
⠀
Ever since I started reading my goals daily I have taken a lot more actionS. <- capital S is on purpose. So many actions I have taken and I am moving towards something that makes me feel great.

This is why I share this. For you to get the same feeling. Because it feels great. And I don't want to turn back.

A little boat comes by, selling coconuts to drink.

They come with bamboo straws.

Sustainability starts small. Refuse straws that can only be used once. Even if recycable as this still becomes trash. ⠀
Have your own with you. 
Or only use thoses that are being cleaned and reused.

It's the litte things that create big changes.
