Have you ever thought about your morning environment?

What do you do in the mornings? Weekdays I am talking about:

You start your day. And you start it at home, most of the time.

What does the start of the day do for you? It sets you up for the day to come.

Before I keep talking on the topic, I have an announcement for an online workshop I am holding. Accessible worldwide. Read until the end for more details.

You wake up, get ready: clothes, food, mood. Then you head to work.

So the start of the day at home, is also the start of the day at work where you want to be your best for your job.

When you leave your home and you feel heavy, like there is a weight on your shoulders. Your mood is rather low. You bring this to your work. It then affects how your job goes, and the relationship with the people you connect with during the day. By the time you leave your home you are setting up to have a crappy day even before the work day started.

And you might think you can’t do anything about it. WRONG!

Let’s say:
You want to have a great day every day. Then you need to feel lifted, positive when you leave your home. To do so is easy. You need to add little moments in your morning routine that lift you up. Moments that bring a smile yo your face. Generates laughter. Or a sense of wellbeing. And that you are unstoppable.

How do you change your morning environment?

Ask yourself:

What actions, items, thoughts generate those emotions, expressions in you?

And incorporate these into you daily routine.

Ah wait! You have excuses. You know these:

I don’t have the time to do this in the morning. Kids, wife, emails blah blah blah, yes I am writing blah blah blah

Or

I don’t know how to change this

Or

Whatever other reason your mind is telling you right now.

First:

When you don’t want to do something you’ll find an excuse. When you want to do something you’ll take action.

Second:

Another question for you:
Is the excuse you are telling yourself more important then starting your day felling on top of the world? and you can make anything happen? By changing a few things at home?

Should your answer is yes your excuse is more important, then I can’t help you. You are convinced you can’t do it. And whatever you tell your mind you are right.

But what if you could do it… What if you gave it a go. What if you found 5 mins in the morning to give to yourself. What if…

How do you know it won’t work if YOU don’t try it.

And if it didn’t work for some else it doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. You need to really want it. And believe in it.

I know you can do it. I have no doubt. I also know that you can keep yourself believe that you can’t should you choose to.

It’s all up to you.

Enjoy x
