WHY should you set up a space for you reading habit?

Your habits are you and you are your habits.

Let’s break this down a little more.

What do you do on a daily basis? A whole bunch of things. Unless you’re dead. And if you are reading this, I’m pretty sure you’re not.

Basics: wake up, brush your teeth, drink a beverage, put some clothes on, look at your phone, go to work, talk about what you watch series, sports, … Take transportation or walk, eat food, brush teeth, clean yourself, sleep. Add other things to your day.

These are all activities, and those you do repeatedly are habits / routine.

Some you do because you need to/ want to. And some because they bring you pleasure.

All of these activities are part of who you are.

Activities that bring you pleasure

This is where reading comes in. You enjoy reading. Your home should have a reading space. As reading is part of who you are. And your home is a reflection of who you are. Thus your home needs a reading space.

Another reason why your home needs a space for your reading habit:

When you have a space for your reading habit, it will make you want to read more. Consciously and subconsciously.

You will see the reading space, and think: “I want to read now”

You can sit down, grab your book and start reading. Because you made it pleasurable and simple to do.

Also you keep seeing the space and subconsciously look at it, feel good about it. Because you set it up to bring you pleasure. And want to sit down to read.
